Jack {North Alabama Newborn Photographer}

I can’t even begin to explain how much I love this sweet family! Monica is another one of my dear friends and I’m secretly hoping that Wyatt and Bella will marry one day…..hehe! We always have so much fun together and I was so excited when she found out she was expecting again. She is officially part of the “Moms of Boys” club! It’s a whole new world. I’m sad to say that my only advice I could give her was in the diaper changing department, but that is very important with baby boys! I wish someone would’ve told me before I joined the club!

Anyway, little Jack was so sweet for his newborn session! He did so good and let me do anything I wanted. Such great little baby models lately, I’ll tell ya! Big sister Bella is so sweet with Jack and I know they are going to grow up to be great friends. Monica brought the CUTEST little antique doll bed I have ever seen. It fit Jack perfectly! I’m officially on the hunt for one for the studio. I may be calling her up to borrow it if I can’t find one thoughAnyway, here is little Jack and his sweet family. BTW, is Monica not the most gorgeous woman you have ever seen?!?! She’s just as beautiful inside as she is outside, which is the only thing that could keep you from hating her for being that gorgeous…….kidding!

What to Wear

This is always a toughie for clients. My suggestion is to always go with "your" style. After all, these portraits will be hanging in your house, not mine.

Typically, you want to shy away from anything too busy or anything with logos, cartoons, etc. These things all tend to date pictures and in a few years you won't notice the pictures, but instead the clothing.

You can never go wrong with bright colors or simple patterns. I know it is always easier to put the whole family in a solid polo, for example, but I suggest you mix it up. Go with coordinating colors that compliment one another. Layering is also a great way to add dimension and a little extra character to your photographs.

Pricing

NEW PRICING FOR 2013:

Session fee: $150

This is for photographers time and talent only. Not only does a session include 1-2 hours of shooting time, it also includes numerous hours on the "chopping block". Editing any making each and every portrait the best that it can be. This is the advantage of custom photography!

Pricing is for 4 subjects. $25 for each additional person.

High Resolution Disc with all edited images from your session: $300

Print pricing is available if client chooses to order prints, mounts, canvases or specialty products.

Baby Plans: $500- This includes 5 sessions throughout their first year (newborn, 3 mth, 6 mth, 9 mth, and 1 year). The sessions can be shot at the location of your choice (within a reasonable distance). With each session you will get 2 5x7s. You will also be able to purchase the edited disc from your session at the discounted price of $200. This is a savings of $100 alone per session! At the end of your baby plan, you will receive a custom book filled with a few photographs from each session.

These sessions book fast and I only accept a limited number of babies each year. Contact for more information on how to capture your new bundle of joy's first year! Newborn sessions should be scheduled within the first 2 weeks of baby's life.

Due to the increase in the number of boys in my house, I will no longer be doing any weddings! Thank you for understanding :)
